Waterproofing Membrane.
An asphaltic waterproofing membrane incorporating a fibre felt carrier.
Uses
- Designed for flat roof waterproofing or wherever an asphaltic membrane would be used.
- In accordance with SABS Code of Practice 021/1973 using either hot or cold bonding methods.
- It is strongly recommended that either the two or three layer process be used and that a single layer usage is avoided.
- Where exposed to the weather, it is usual to overcoat, 3 weeks after laying, with silvakote.
Caution
- Do not use on completely flat roofs. Any ‘flat’ roof should have a minimum drainage fall of 1 in 80 (1,25%).
- Rolls should be stacked on end, not more than 2 rolls high.
