durastrip shutter mould and release agent creates an excellent concrete finish

Specification compliance: Exceed the needs of release agent as described by ASTM & BS

All surfaces must be clean, dry and free of all loose materials. Steel surfaces must be free of rust or mill scale. If extensive re-use of timber moulds is envisaged it is advisable to protect all new surfaces with abecote^® 320, which protects timber from alkali attack.

The coverage is dependent on the substrate roughness and porosity. A trial is highly recommended to determine exact quantities.

durastrip is a ready to use formulation and does not require any mixing. It should however be stirred prior to use.

Minimum application temperature: 5°C.

durastrip must be applied at the recommended spread rate and any excess must be removed. durastrip should be applied by brush, sponge roller, or conventional mould oil sprayer. durastrip should be applied in one continuous even film. All nonabsorbent surfaces require only a single application.

NOTE:
New, unsealed timber surfaces should be re-coated if a delay period in excess of 48 hours occurs. After use, formwork should be brushed and treated with durastrip as previously described. Remove durastrip completely for purposes of repair or for resealing with abecote^® 320.

Do not apply during rain or when rain is expected. 

All tools, equipment and splashes should be cleaned using clean water. Soap and water to be used for personal cleaning.
