Surface Preparation
abe.®rep 710 latex cement has been formulated to allow a thin, hard cementitious coating over concrete and masonry that requires levelling.
A sound base is essential for good repairs. Remove all oil, grease, dirt and disintegrated or unsound concrete from the areas to be repaired.
The substrate must be dry before application.
Electronic moisture content tests must be conducted prior to application of the priming system. Maximum moisture 4 – 5% max. (e.g. Protimeter Survey Master or equivalent) or Dynamic Calcium Chloride moisture “weight gain” over 24 hours or a practical overnight “plastic sheet test” is also advisable (approximately 1 m² masked down on surface).

Self-priming.
Properties
Water resistant and anti-dusting.
Mixing
Place the abe.®rep 710 latex cement in a clean container. Add the liquid component and thoroughly mix to a smooth workable consistency. Mix only the quantity that can be placed in 20 minutes.
Coverage
25 kg of abe.®rep 710 latex cement mixed with 4.5 litres of the liquid component yields approximately 15 litres. Contents cover 3 m² at 5 mm depth.
Application
Work the product fi rmly into the cleaned surface, eliminate air pockets to provide a good bond. Screed and float abe.®rep 710 latex cement into place, work quickly and use light pressure. Delay trowelling until surface has begun to harden. Not more than 6 mm thick and provide a square cut edge for finish joint.
Note: Do not mix abe.®rep 710 latex cement with water or add any fillers.
Cleaning
Use abe® super brush cleaner before material dried/cured.
Protection on Completion
Protect against traffic and spillage until material has cured.
Packaging
Moisture resistant woven polyethelene bags containing 25 kg of abe.®rep 710 latex cement and 4.5 litres of the liquid component.
Handling & Storage
This product has a shelf life of 12 months if kept in a dry cool place under cover in the original packaging. In more extreme conditions this period might be shortened..
