All the relevant product data sheets are to be read for additional information like pot life, mixing instructions, surface preparation, ventilation, temperature application limitations, etc.
Surface Preparation
All surfaces shall be sound, clean, dry and free from laitance, dust, oil, paint, grease, corrosion deposits organic growth and any other deleterious substance.
Surfaces shall be cleaned by mechanical means, steam, pressure washing with clean water, grit blasting, or a combination to satisfy. Any remaining dust or loose material should be removed by blowing with oil-free clean compressed air.
Chemical Resistant Protection Layer
Priming
To the clean sound and dry surface apply the prime coat. Concrete and masonry shall be primed with abe.®cote SF 356 diluted 1:1 with abe® thinners no. 3 at a rate of 5m2/litre. This coat must be allowed to dry before over-coating proceeds, observe over-coating times in product data sheet.
Chemical Resistant Surface Coating
abe.®cote SF 356 should be applied by brush or short fibre roller, including ‘fibasil-genmat’ membrane.
Apply the first coat of abe.®cote SF 356 at a rate of 5m2/ litre/coat to the floor and wall area, incorporating a chemical resistant tissue “fibasil-genmat” to assist in film build in the first coat. Take note of the over-coating times given in the product data sheet.
Apply the second coat of abe.®cote SF 356 at a rate of 5m2/ litre/coat to the floor and wall area.
Allow the abe.®cote SF 356 to cure for a minimum of 3 days before commissioning.
Cleaning
epidermix products should be removed from tools, equipment and mixers with abe® super brush cleaner immediately after use. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.

Safety Precautions
Uncured epidermix 324 contains diethylene triamine which is toxic. Prolonged skin contact can result in dermatitic reaction. Always ventilate a working area very well during application and curing.
Always wear gloves when working with the material and avoid excessive inhalation and skin contact. If material is splashed in the eye, wash with copious quantities of clean water and seek medical advice.
