abeplate is the industry’s premier, iron-armoured, dry-shake surface hardener for industrial floors needing additional abrasion resistance and impact protection
Advanced technology has helped provide methods for the complete integration of the required amount of shake into the floor surface. Therefore, under given job conditions, heavier applications of this product are now possible.
Uses:
- Industrial floor surfaces subject to heavy or frequent traffic, impact and abrasion
- Industrial floors needing additional abrasion and impact resistance at a reasonable installation cost
- Areas where surface dusting is unacceptable
It should not be used in:
- Areas where floor surfaces will be exposed to acids, their salts or like materials which seriously and rapidly attack cement and/or iron
- Areas of constant high humidity from ambient or ground water
- Cold rooms
Advantages
Natural
- A surface hardener which is more easily applied at normal or above normal temperatures for floors requiring moderate to maximum thickness of iron-armouring by the dry-shake method.
- A high-strength, metallic floor surface for greater wear resistance than is provided by hard, but brittle, mineral aggregate such as emery or granite.
- A high-density, less permeable surface which reduces penetration of oil, grease and many industrial chemicals.
Coverage
Moderate duty | 5 – 7 kg/m² |
Heavy duty | 7 – 9 kg/m² |
Concentrated traffic | 9 – 12 kg/m² |
