All surfaces must be free from grease, oil, dust, loose particles and other contaminants. Old coatings, which are stable and difficult to remove, can remain. Very smooth surface should be roughened for better adhesion.

For new concrete, the substrate must be sound and cured for 28 days.

No priming is necessary.

For the mixing of dura.proof dekflex, charge the liquid into a clean mixing container. Add the powder gradually while mixing until a lump free consistency is achieved. No additional water is required. It is recommended that mechanical mixing (400 – 500 rpm) should be used for 2-3 minutes to ensure proper dispersion of the components.

dura.proof dekflex system covers approx. 2.28kg/m² @ a dry film thickness of approx. 1.15 mm.

dura.proof dekflex 25kg kit:

Coverage will be approx. 3-4m² as a 3 coat build-up system at a dry film thickness of approx. 1.15mm per coat.

Actual site coverage may vary from site depending on the substrate condition.

Tools and equipment may be cleaned using water before the product set.

dura.proof dekflex system is designed for extended life, if not covered with tiles.

Note: Do not cover with stones or stone chippings.

A high performance, multi-layer liquid waterproofing system plus reinforced netting.

The waterproofing system will be dura.^® proof dekflex, a dual-pack highly flexible compound applied in accordance with the recommendations of a.b.e.^® Construction Chemicals, including the use of reinforced netting.

dura.proof dekflex comprises of a 25 kg kit with two components: a 10kg liquid component plus a 15kg powder component.

All components have a shelf life up to 12 months in unopened containers provided they are stored in a cool dry place.
