Concrete and Mortar Waterproofer.
dura.®proof is an additive containing fine particles which combine with the lime in the cement to form water-repellent particles. These obstruct the capillary action within concrete.
All types of cements (except aluminous).
- Concrete for foundations under the water table.
- Concrete for reservoirs and tanks.
- Sealing grout for tanks.
- Concrete and mortar in regular contact with water.
Advantages
- Enhances the waterproofing qualities of concrete, mortar and plaster.
- Does not modify the characteristics of fresh concrete.
- Does not affect the compressive strength of concrete.
Mixing
Stir well before use.
Coverage
Dosage: 1 L / 50 kg (pocket) of cement.
Dosage
1 to 3,5kg each 100kg of cement. A 1.5% dosage of the product to the weight of cement is commonly used.
Applications
dura.®proof is completely miscible in water. It must be added to the mixing water. The optimum dosage of dura.®proof can only be established after trial tests, taking into account local conditions affecting the workability of the mix and the mechanical properties required from the concrete.
