Dimpled high density polyethylene protection membrane with perforations.
abedrain® 20 P is a dimpled high density polyethylene (HDPE) membrane with 20 mm dimples including perforated slots.
Uses:
abedrain® 20 P is used as drainage and protection membrane for roof gardens and planter boxes in conjunction with a geotextile and a waterproofing membrane such as abedex® AR. The dimples retain water and excess water is drained away thereby preventing water stagnation.

Horizontal Application
The surface area must be waterproofed according to a.b.e.®specification. This is not a primary waterproofing membrane but is recommended for buried dual layer system applications. The first layer consisting of a 3 mm abedex® unigum torch followed by an antiriot bituminous membrane abedex® AR. Lay abedrain® 20 P in place with the dimples facing downwards. Should it be necessary to overlap, then 150 mm would be sufficient. Apply super laykold® waterpoofing tape 100 mm wide along the flat part of the product for this purpose. Where required place a geotextile membrane loosely on top of the abedrain® 20 P before spreading out the soil. This is important as the soil would otherwise fill the dimples and thereby reduce water drainage Spread out the soil according to the instructions of a qualified landscaper.

Do not butt-joint sheets.
Coverage
Install abedrain® 20 P as supplied using an overlap of 150 mm between the sheets resulting in an overall coverage of 35 m2 per roll.

The product has no expiry date. Keep out of direct sunlight for extensive periods. No heavy loads are to be placed or packed on top of the product.
