NATURE OF PROJECT
The site offered challenges of obsolete mastic asphalt, leading to overheating, rutting and mud cracking of the parking deck. Installation of a two-layer dual reinforced torch-on waterproofing membrane was required.
Priming with bitu.prime of the surface both on prepared screed and upstand. Attending to the gusset using either Testudo or Fidia 4 mm as well as fully bonded to the primed horizontal surface. Fully bonded abe.®unigum 4 mm to the vertical face, finished off with the super laykold & super laycryl over the top of the upstand to ensure the system is fully waterproofed. Installation of abe.®drain G as a drainage layer followed by layer of sand and pavers as per the engineers requirements to complete the system.
